Mother's Day Makeover

The Mother's Day Makeover (MDM) is a "Free" incentive program designed to provide Life Skills Training, Transitional Employment opportunities, food for the homeless as well as the low income and needy in our community. Each year the MDM has an attendance of 100-150 persons.

All guests received hair styling, skin care, glamour outfits of their choice, music and entertainment for the children.

This year's Mother's Day Makeover focused on the QUEEN'S DIGEST. The QUEEN'S DIGEST is a compilation of women's personal stories dialoguing their career pathway to success. Its design was originated for the purpose of serving as an ongoing curriculum development that will provide hope and inspiration to persons that are in the process of overcoming chronic life controlling problems. i.e. domestic abuse, substance abuse, homelessness, divorce, mental illness, sickness, poverty, etc.

Below are some pictures from the 12th Annual Mother's Day Makeover that took place on May 7, 2016.
